The Debt Consolidation Centre Privacy Policy

We consider your privacy to be very important. All information provided by you will be kept strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to any third party without your permission except in connection with any mortgage or debt advice application you make, or to our compliance advisers, our auditors, the Mortgage Code Compliance Board, or in accordance with the due process of the law.

Information relevant to your personal finances, insurance policies and your relationship with us will be held in the computer and manual records of The Debt Consolidation Centre.

The provision of information to The Debt Consolidation Centre means that you have provided explicit permission to process that information under the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998.

If you apply for a loan or mortgage, information provided by you may be passed to credit reference agencies. Unlike some tracking services SiteMeter does not have a database of individual profiles for each visitor. SiteMeter only collects aggregate data.

Sharing

Where partnerships with other companies are formed, we will share aggregated demographic information with them. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.

Where we use an outside shipping company to ship orders or use a credit card processing company to bill users for goods and services. These companies do not retain, share, store or use personally identifiable information for any secondary purposes.

We may partner with another party to provide specific services. When the user signs up for these services, we will share names, or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services.

These parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.
